This sterilizer provides a safe, effective and convenient method for sterilizing your valuable surgical instruments prior to surgery or tissue culture. Without using potentially dangerous gases, flames or chemicals, you can ensure that your instruments will be free of pathogens and microbial contaminants. Just place your cleaned instruments in the glass beads contained in the central well of the sterilizer. With a temperature thermostatically maintained at 250° C, extensive testing has shown that the instruments require approximately 20 seconds contact with the beads for complete sterilization. The sterilizer is safe to use even in laminar flow hoods. The beads will take approximately 15 20 minutes to reach 250° C and, once at this temperature, the sterilizer can be left on all day and is ready to use. The outside surface of the sterilizer remains cool to prevent accidental burns from the unit.
